ML SANT PERE GALLERY SPACE
In 2007, ML purchased an old metal factory near the Palau de la Música in the heart of Barcelona´s Gothic Quarter. The factory was originally built in 1800 and had been passed down through 4 generations.
We carefully restored the building to create a new, open-plan working art gallery. To open up the space, our architects used both natural sunlight from the street and a system that emits light from behind the walls.
ML´s design was meticulously planned to respect the original history and purpose of the building, using metal artefacts discovered in the old factory as fittings for the new gallery space.
